2019 Golf Professional Development Series

The Golf Professional Development Series is the Western Washington Chapter’s continuing education forum. The Pofessional Development Committee’s vision is to: Engage the membership in “lifelong” education and training that will develop members’ applied operational and strategic excellence to advance career opportunities and compensation levels.

ONLINE EDUCATION

Principles of Scorecard Design

Free, one-hour online course eligible for 1 PGA Education Credit. The course can be found at www.golfscorecards.com. To earn a credit, PGA members must watch the video and then pass a short online assessment.
This does not satisfy apprentice education requirements.

With major changes to the Rules of Golf taking effect on January 1, 2019, the WSGA/PNGA will be offering seminars to learn all about the new changes to the game.

Date: Saturday, January 26, 2019

Site: Fairwood Golf & Country Club, Renton, Wash.

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with multiple breaks and lunch 

Seats Available: 100

Cost: $30 

Registration Includes: Seminar, The Rules of Golf book, The Player’s Edition of the Rules of Golf, Lunch Buffet, Coffee/Tea and Refreshments 

Registration Deadline: January 23, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. (PST)

Add on Item (Recommended): Players can purchase the Official Guide to the Rules of Golf (previously called theDecisions Book), during registration for $15. Books will be distributed at the workshop for those who purchase one during registration.
