The Golf Professional Development Series is the Western Washington Chapter’s continuing education forum. The Pofessional Development Committee’s vision is to: Engage the membership in “lifelong” education and training that will develop members’ applied operational and strategic excellence to advance career opportunities and compensation levels.

Principles of Scorecard Design

Free, one-hour online course eligible for 1 PGA Education Credit. The course can be found at www.golfscorecards.com. To earn a credit, PGA members must watch the video and then pass a short online assessment. This does not satisfy AMP education credit requirements.

WA Golf World Handicap System Seminar – Bellingham G&CC EVENT DETAILS With the implementation of the World Handicap System on January 1, 2020, Washington Golf will be offering seminars to our Handicap Chairpersons and PGA Professionals to learn the new Rules of Handicapping. Each seminar will include the optional open-book quiz required for certification for your club. PGA Professionals will also receive MSR credit for attending a seminar. Date: Tuesday, February 18, 2020 Site: Bellingham Golf & Country Club, Bellingham, Wash. Time: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. with multiple breaks and lunch. Optional quiz to follow seminar Seats Available: 50 Cost: $15  Registration Includes: Seminar, The Rules of Handicapping book, Lunch Buffet, Coffee/Tea and Refreshments Registration Deadline: February 11, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. (PST) Presented by: Nate Schroeder, WA Golf Director of Handicapping & Course Rating and Collin Westwood, WA Golf Manager of Handicapping & GHIN Services Dress Code: Business casual or golf attire.
