One of the most anticipated events on the Western Washington PGA calendar, the North/South Cup has been a Chapter tradition since 1986. The annual team competition brings together many of our top players for two days of camaraderie, competition, and Chapter pride.
The event features a friendly rivalry between the North and South sides of the Chapter. The dividing line is the southern tip of Lake Washington, with PGA Professionals from the Olympic Peninsula competing as part of the South Team.
While there is certainly no shortage of competitive spirit, what makes the North/South Cup special is the experience itself. Participants spend two days with fellow PGA Professionals from around the Chapter, competing alongside friends and colleagues in a team environment that is unlike any other event we host. The Chapter covers golf, carts, hotel accommodations, and a hosted dinner, creating an atmosphere that participants consistently describe as one of the highlights of their year.
For those who have never participated in the North/South Cup, this event represents much more than a competition. It is an opportunity to represent your side of the Chapter, compete alongside many of the area’s top PGA Professionals, and become part of one of the Western Washington PGA’s most enduring and celebrated traditions.
