Christian Ballard – Chambers Bay: Christian has been an Academy Instructor at Chambers Bay for nearly five years and has grown into a key leader at the facility. As Adult Program Coordinator, he has led the expansion of adult programming, including beginner classes, Academy memberships, monthly clinics, and veteran initiatives — helping drive a 50% increase in adult participation at the Academy.
Christian is deeply involved across all Academy programs, leading adult instruction while also supporting junior initiatives like Chambers Bay’s PGA Jr. League, one of the largest programs in the country. He also launched a popular weekly skins game in partnership with local golf businesses such as TRUE Linkswear and Puetz Golf, drawing 50–60 players each week and bringing golfers of all skill levels together.
Beyond the course, Christian gives back through efforts like the PNWPGA 100-Hole Marathon fundraiser, supporting the PGA Golf Management program at New Mexico State University, his alma mater. His passion for teaching, community, and giving back continues to make a meaningful impact at Chambers Bay and beyond.
