Craig Welty notched 10 birdies to pace he and club president Arnie Donovan to the gross championship in the 2012 Cutter & Buck WWC PGA Pro-President at Tacoma C&GC. Finishing one stroke back at 67 were Mike Toll and Brian Espe of Maplewood GC and J.D. Cline and John Wall of Bear Creek CC.
In the Net Division, Cedarcrest pro Dave Castleberry and men’s club president AJ Salvat tied Fairwood G&CC professional Rick Larson and club president Clarence Cal at 11-under par 61. Kitsap G&CC professional Al Patterson and board member Wayne Evans shot 60, but with Evans not being the club president, were not eligible for the trophy.
