The Pacific Northwest PGA community recently lost a longtime friend with the passing of Paul Cobleigh on February 13, 2026, at the age of 64.
Paul dedicated more than four decades to Suntides Golf Course in Yakima, where he served as Head Golf Professional and General Manager for over 42 years. Introduced to golf at age 14 by a friend at Suntides, Paul quickly developed a lifelong passion for the game. He went on to play collegiate golf and spent his career mentoring players, supporting golfers of all abilities, and helping build a strong golf community throughout Central Washington.
Those who knew Paul will remember his steady presence at the course, his willingness to help anyone who needed it, and the countless friendships he formed through the game he loved.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Suntides Golf Course in Yakima on Saturday, April 18, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM.
